DOWA Thermoengineering, Handa WorksPlant
Chukyo Handa Plant is specialized in thermal treatment method called carburizing and quenching, which is mainly for automobile parts. It is the largest heat treatment plant in Chukyo area with 31 furnaces. The company uses the gas carburizing method where carbon is added to the surface of steel to strengthen metal parts for longer life cycle.
