Comments for the DOWA group's CSR Report 2011
We distributed approximately 13,000 copies (as of March 2012) of CSR Report 2010 published in June, 2011 to our stakeholder including shareholders, investors, partners, customers and all employees. In addition, we also post our CSR activities and report in English on our website.
The DOWA group conducted a survey to ask comments and opinions from the readers of our CSR to reflect them in our activities and improving our reports. We also asked comments and opinions on CSR activities and also reports from newly recruited employees in our training sessions. We reflected those invaluable comments and the third party's opinion of last year in preparation for this report as follows. (Some of the comments were summarized.)

As of April 2012, we received 133 replies including questionnaire reply postcards attached to the report and replies from the questionnaire site on our website.

Main comments
The report should be simplified in general and it should use easy to understand expressions and words.
The color, drawings and figures in the report are very effectively used and easy to understand.
I could have enjoyed the report more if the contents were interesting like a story telling.
The report is easy to read as there are many comments from employees with their pictures.

The DOWA group offers educational programs on CSR to raise awareness of CSR in our comprehensive training programs for newly recruited employees and share our CSR activities with them.
This year we offered lectures on "For what purpose does a company exist?" or "What are good companies?" from a corporate point of view. We also evaluated explicitness and details of our CSR Report 2011 and prepared a report on "What CSR activities are the newly recruited employees interested in?" or "What CSR activities the DOWA group should take part in in the future" from the standpoint of newly recruited employees.

A phrase "overseas deployment" or "global deployment" is often used, but only a few articles provide detailed information in this report.
->Our efforts in the Thai company are described in "Introduction of Main Plant." Dowa Thermotech (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Many graphs and data are inserted in the section of Environmental Report but what is important or changes are not easy to understand.

Policy and efforts on human rights should be described.
